As we head into a new election season, Pride Corpus Christi is proud to announce that VoteWithPride.org is officially back; and we are preparing for our most robust and comprehensive cycle yet.

Vote With Pride exists for one simple reason: LGBTQIA+ voters deserve clear, honest, and accessible information about where candidates stand on the issues that directly impact our lives, our families, and our futures.

This year, we are significantly expanding the scope and depth of the platform to ensure our community can make informed, values-driven decisions at the ballot box.

A New Platform Built for Accountability

The newly updated VoteWithPride.org introduces a major improvement:

candidates can now submit and manage their own profiles for the races they are running in.

Candidates are invited to:

• Submit background information for their campaign and office

• Respond directly to a structured questionnaire focused on LGBTQIA+ issues

• Publicly state their positions on equality, inclusion, and civil rights

Based on these responses, candidates will receive an LGBTQIA+ friendliness score, designed to help voters quickly understand where a candidate stands, while still allowing full transparency into their actual words and positions.

Beyond Self-Reported Answers

While candidate participation is encouraged, Vote With Pride does not rely solely on self-reported information.

Our team will also be:

• Researching candidates’ public records and voting histories

• Tracking past statements, endorsements, and affiliations

• Documenting anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric or policy positions when they exist

• Highlighting demonstrated allyship and pro-equality leadership

Our goal is not to promote or oppose candidates, it is to document reality. Accountability matters, and silence or avoidance is itself meaningful information for voters.
