Corpus Christi, TX – Pride Corpus Christi, a 501 C 3 non-profit, is proud to announce the 2024 Pride Parade & Block Party, taking place on October 5, 2024, at The Great Lawn at Water’s Edge Park. This year’s event will be bigger and better, with more marchers, floats, vendors, and an even larger stage to showcase our incredible lineup of local talent.

This year’s Pride celebration is presented by Hilliard Law, a leading social justice firm and Texas Trial Lawyers in Corpus Christi, recognized for their outstanding support of equality and civil rights. We are grateful for their partnership in making this year’s celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies possible.

Kicking off at 5:00 PM, the Pride Parade will feature over 500 marchers, including Miss Trans Oklahoma USA 2024 Kitana Sanchez as our grand marshal, along with participants from groups such as Dykes and Friends on Bikes, Walmart, the Coastal Bend Pride Center, Gulf Coast Growth Ventures, and many more.

After the parade, join us for an unforgettable Block Party MC’d by local talent PrimaDonna Brooks with live entertainment powered by Unity 89.1 FM, Corpus Christi’s progressive LGBTQIA+ radio station, currently streaming online. The stage will feature performances from local LGBTQIA+ musicians and allies, including Moniq, Sergio Espinosa, AZUL Entertainment, Brittany Andrews, and many more. For attendees 21+, enjoy craft beer, hard seltzer, and margaritas from a local brewery.

Food trucks and a wide variety of vendors, including the Human Rights Campaign, Equality Texas, the Padre Island National Seashore, and local artisans such as Clover and Leaf, will be on-site, providing treats, locally hand crafted goods, and interactive experiences like photo booths, art installations, and more.

Prominent local politicians and candidates, including Solomon Ortiz Jr., Eric Cantu, City Councilman Jim Klein, City Councilwoman Sylvia Campos, and others will also be in attendance. Additionally, three voter registration groups will be present to help community members register to vote before the October 7th deadline.
