Our Commitment
Pride Corpus Christi (The Mosaic Project of South Texas, Inc.) is committed to making our website, our events, and our community accessible to everyone — including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of our mission: Pride is for every body and every mind.
Web Accessibility Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Our ongoing efforts include:
- A “skip to main content” link for keyboard and screen-reader users
- Descriptive alternative text on images
- Labeled, keyboard-navigable forms (including our parade and vendor applications)
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences in animations
- Event maps that identify accessible routes, restrooms, parking, and quiet zones, with text equivalents for assistive technology
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some older content, third-party embeds (such as social media feeds and payment forms), and PDF documents may not yet fully conform. We are working to address these as we find them.
Accessibility at Our Events
We work to make the Pride parade and block party accessible, including:
- Accessible viewing areas, routes, restrooms, and parking — marked on our event maps
- Quiet / sensory-friendly zones
- ASL interpretation at main-stage programming
If you need a specific accommodation to participate in one of our events, please contact us ahead of time and we will do our best to provide it.
