The It Gets Better Project has officially launched its inspiring Changemakers program, offering LGBTQIA+ youth an incredible opportunity to lead projects that can transform their local communities. Pride Corpus Christi and our parent organization, The Mosaic Project of South Texas, are excited to support our local youth who are passionate about making a difference!

What is the Changemakers Program?

The Changemakers initiative provides financial grants ranging from $500 to $10,000, along with mentorship opportunities, designed to empower young LGBTQIA+ leaders. Whether your vision includes enhancing LGBTQIA+ resources in schools, creating safe spaces for trans and nonbinary youth, or organizing community-wide pride events, this program can support your goals and amplify your impact.

How Can You Make a Difference?

Your creativity and leadership could result in meaningful and lasting changes within Corpus Christi. Previous projects funded by Changemakers include:

• Expanding LGBTQIA+ literature availability in local libraries.
• Establishing inclusive support groups and youth-led workshops.
• Organizing impactful community events that promote visibility and pride.
