The Art Center of Corpus Christi is thrilled to announce a Call for Entry for our upcoming exhibition, Pride in Color, a dynamic showcase honoring the vibrancy, diversity, and expressive power of the LGBTQ+ community through art.

About the Exhibition

“Pride in Color” invites artists to explore and celebrate the role of color as an influential element of individuality, culture, and community. This exhibition welcomes artworks ranging from bold abstract pieces to personal narratives, highlighting a diverse spectrum of experiences and expressions. We believe in the transformative power of art to build community, foster understanding, and celebrate authenticity in all its beautiful forms.

Important Dates

• Submission Deadline: March 19, 2025 – May 8, 2025
• Notification of Acceptance: May 16, 2025
• Intake Date: June 1, 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM
• Exhibition Dates: June 6, 2025 – June 28, 2025

Submission Guidelines

• Artwork Limit: Artists may submit up to three pieces.
• Entry Fees:
  • $20 for non-members
  • $15 for members of the Art Center of Corpus Christi
• Mediums Accepted: All visual art mediums are welcomed, including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, and more. (Please note: Video and installation art are not eligible for this exhibition.)
• Format: 2D artworks must be printed, framed, or presented on canvas, ready to display according to the Art Center’s exhibition guidelines.
• Age Requirement: Submissions are open to artists aged 18 and older.
