In pursuit of a healthier and happier community, our non-profit organization has been awarded a CDC grant to expand local access to HIV/STD testing and prevention. By applying on our website, residents within the 12-county Coastal Bend region may receive at-home test kits via postal mail. Today was our first ever official PRIDE event on campus at @island_university with approximately 70 people, both online and in person, in attendance for the @issg_tamucc panel on neurodiversity in the LGBTQIA+ community. In the 2 hour session, the panel discussed autism spectrum disorder, local cultural impacts on diagnosis and accessibility to community resources such as @cbwellness and the @coastalbendpridecenter.
