Two Dollar Day at the C.C. Museum & Grand Opening of the Stonewall National Museum & Archives Exhibition

(CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, SEPTEMBER 27th, 2021) — Enjoy a special Two Dollar Day at the Museum, sponsored by Wienerschnitzel Corpus Christi, on Saturday, October 9th, 2021, from 10 AM to 5 PM. The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History will host this event to commemorate the grand opening of the traveling exhibit from the Stonewall National Museum & Archives exhibit titled 50 Years: The Stonewall Uprising.

 

The traveling exhibit comes to the C.C. Museum from the Stonewall National Museum & Archives in Fort Lauderdale through their collaboration with the Mosaic Project of South Texas/PRIDE Corpus Christi. It will commemorate National Coming Out Day on October 11th and LGBTQ+ History Month throughout October 2021. LGBTQ+ History Month recognizes the history and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community and the importance of civil rights movements in progressing gay rights.
