Dear Pride Corpus Christi Community,

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of our esteemed board member, Andrea Fisher. Andrea will be stepping down from her volunteer position at Pride Corpus Christi to pursue a new employment opportunity in San Antonio. While we are excited for her as she embarks on this new journey, her absence will undoubtedly leave a void within our organization.

Andrea has been an invaluable contributor to Pride Corpus Christi, first as a committee member since 2019 and later as a board member since 2022. Her tireless work on the pub crawl, parade, block party, and volunteer organizing has made a tremendous impact on our community. Her dedication to promoting inclusivity and supporting LGBTQIA+ rights has been an inspiration to us all.

We are incredibly thankful for Andrea’s hard work and commitment to our cause. Her enthusiasm, expertise, and collaborative spirit have made a lasting impression on everyone who has had the pleasure of working with her. She will be greatly missed by the entire Pride Corpus Christi community.

With Andrea’s departure, we are now accepting applications for a new board member to fill her role. Duties include organizing events, building relationships with the public, and seeking sponsorships to help fund our efforts. We encourage everyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+ and/or as an ally to apply.
