Coastal Bend Pride Center

The Coastal Bend Pride Center is a cornerstone for the LGBTQIA+ community in the Corpus Christi area and beyond, offering an inclusive safe space and a variety of crucial services. Established as the first and only LGBTQIA+ community center south of San Antonio, the Pride Center extends its reach to 12 counties within the Coastal Bend region. It focuses on nurturing a supportive environment through its social and support groups tailored to diverse needs, including those of youth, families, and the wider LGBTQIA+ population.

The Center’s dedication to mental health is evident in its counseling services, which cover a spectrum from individual to family therapy. They have a commitment to supporting the community\'s well-being, both mental and physical, with health screenings, HIV/STD prevention and education, and offering connections to LGBTQIA+-friendly healthcare providers.
