Ally Free/The Allies

Ally Free / The Allies deliver a dynamic acoustic/electric performance blending Americana, folk storytelling, and soulful rock. Featuring Ally Free’s powerful, emotionally driven lead vocals and original songwriting alongside Aaron Stapler’s guitar, backing vocals, live looping, and layered instrumentation, the duo creates a rich, full-band sound that connects deeply with audiences.

As a Black, queer, transgender singer-songwriter and member of The Black Opry, Ally Free brings a unique perspective shaped by authenticity, resilience, love, and the courage to live openly. Their original music explores the human experience through heartfelt storytelling, soulful arrangements, and performances that range from intimate and reflective to bold and electrifying.

For Corpus Christi Pride, The Allies would bring more than live music. We would bring a celebration of individuality, representation, community, and the freedom to be unapologetically ourselves. Our goal is to create an experience where audiences feel seen, connected, empowered, and proud of exactly who they are.
