The intersection of faith communities and LGBTQIA communities is often troubling. At the same time, there are congregations who seek to be open and inclusive, informed by a deep tradition of theological study and interpretation. Why is that? How can one church or congregation be welcoming, and another not? Can congregations be safe places for all people? Join us for a conversation about the sometimes troubling legacy of faith and LGBTQIA+ communities, and ways to chart hopeful and faithful paths forward. Local faith leaders will share thoughts and insights, with room for open and respectful discussion.
