The ISSG (Islander Spectrum of Sexuality and Gender) student organization at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi is hosting “Spectrums: Neurodiversity and the Queer Community” on June 17th at 2 PM on campus at the Lonestar Ballrooms in the University Center with PRIDE Corpus Christi. This is a free community panel open to the public with 7 speakers on the topic of neurodiversity, mental health, and how we can be better allies to each other. The 3 professionals on the panel are Dr. Jared Wiehe (advisor to the ISSG, professor of English and Women and Gender Studies), Dr. Briana Sacco (adolescent and child psychologist for Driscoll Children’s Hospital), and Dr. Alison Marks (psychologist for TAMUCC).
