Pride Corpus Christi Announces Fun Home Cast & Crew
May 03, 2023🎠Pride Corpus Christi is thrilled to announce the talented cast of our upcoming production of the Tony Award winning Musical “Fun Home” with music by Jeanine Tesori and lyrics by Lisa Kron based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel at Harbor Playhouse on June 30 and July 1 at 7 PM and July 2 at 2:30 PM. Don’t miss this groundbreaking, emotionally complex, and intimate musical that delves deep into the characters’ lives and relationships.
Meet the Cast
Allison Jarvis
Alison Bechdel✨ Allison Jarvis stars as Alison Bechdel, the main character and narrator. As an adult, Alison navigates through her past, piecing together her relationship with her enigmatic father and her own identity.
Allison is so honored to be trusted with this lead role in her first Harbor Playhouse studio show. She is so happy to be sharing the stage for the second time with her son, Cody. Thank you Bethany, Harbor Playhouse, and Pride CC for allowing us to share this story. She wants to thank her husband, Casey, for his support and patience with this production.
AJ Warrington
Medium Alison✨ AJ Warrington portrays Medium Alison, the college-age version of the character, as she embraces her sexuality and struggles to find her place in the world.
AJ is thrilled to be returning to the theater for such a meaningful production as Fun Home. AJ is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and even prouder to be once again sharing the stage with her favorite human and loving partner, Jordan. She has most recently portrayed Poppy in Noises Off at Aurora Arts Theater, and Girl Bear in Avenue Q at Harbor Playhouse. (She/they)
Mandolyn Binsted
Small Alison✨ Sharing the role of Small Alison, Mandolyn Binsted and Johnna Binsted bring to life the youngest version of the character, depicting her early experiences growing up in a complex family dynamic.
Mandolyn is thrilled to be in her first Harbor Playhouse studio show! She was last seen as Middle Anna in Frozen Jr. and Miss Honey in Matilda Jr. She has been in numerous shows including Seussical, A Christmas Carol & Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She is excited to tell this story through small Allison’s eyes for Corpus Christi!

Helen Bechdel✨ Sherrie Hudgins plays Helen Bechdel, Alison’s mother, who is a resilient and supportive figure in Alison’s life while dealing with the challenges of her marriage.
Sherrie is beyond excited to be a part of this incredible show! It has been a joy to return to Harbor Playhouse’s stage. You may have seen her in a number of Harbor’s past shows including: The Wizard of Oz, Music Man, La Cage aux Foilles, and Les Miserables.
Liam Loera
Christian Bechdel✨ As Christian Bechdel, Liam brings energy and depth to Alison’s older brother, who also experiences the effects of their family’s unique circumstances.
This will be Liam’s second show at Harbor Playhouse. He most recently played Mr. Wormwood in his schools production of Matilda the Musical Jr. He is very excited for the opportunity to be in another show!
Cody Jarvis
John Bechdel✨ Cody Jarvis steps into the role of John Bechdel, Alison’s younger brother, who brings a sense of innocence and wonder to the story.
Cody is excited to be onstage again with Harbor Playhouse. He was last seen in The Christmas Carol (2022) and Hei Hei in Moana Jr. He wants to thank his cast mates and parents for their support and encouragement. Thanks for coming to Fun Home!
Damian Cisneros
Roy, Mark, Pete, and Bobby Jeremy✨ Damian Cisneros showcases his versatility as he takes on multiple roles of Roy, Mark, Pete, and Bobby Jeremy, adding layers to the narrative and exploring various relationships within the story.
Damian is honored to be apart of this amazing story. He is thrilled to perform alongside (and under the direction) of so many talented individuals here in the costal bend. Most recent credits on the Harbor Playhouse stage include TREKKIE MONSTER (Avenue Q – 23’) and PIRAGUERO (In the Heights – 22’). Damian is very fortunate to serve the LGTBQ+ community in this role. Lastly, he would like to thank his son, A.J. for his support in this production!
Ally Torres
Joan✨ Ally Torres portrays Joan, the confident and compassionate college student who helps Medium Alison understand and accept her identity.
An active performer in the Coastal Bend, Ally was last seen as Christmas Eve in Avenue Q at Harbor

Bethany Goldson
Director🎬 Bethany Goldson, our visionary director, will lead this extraordinary ensemble, bringing her expertise and creativity to the production.
Bethany Goldson is a voice teacher and stage director local to the Corpus Christi area. She has a background in opera performance and received her M.M. in Voice from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She has previously directed Suessical (2021) and James and the Giant Peach (2023), both at the Harbor Playhouse. She dedicates the performance of Fun Home to the theater community that helped raise her. From drag queens that taught her how to apply stage makeup to deep conversations that answered the many questions of a teenage theater kid, she is deeply grateful to serve the LGBTQ+ community through performance.
